Parvathy Subramanian is an illustrator and graphic designer from Chennai, India. She holds a degree in Electronic Media from MOP Vaishnav College for Women and a Master’s in History of Fine Arts with a specialization in graphic design from Stella Maris College.
With a strong foundation in traditional media and a passion for graphic design, her work spans a wide range, from personal art to branding, illustration, and visual storytelling. Her creations blend humans and animals to convey both playful, humorous pieces and works that spark joy, and have a mix of whimsy and fantastical imagination. Her subjects and settings are rooted to the most familiar space for her, which is her hometown of Chennai.
Parvathy’s artistic growth has been driven by her self-taught practice, relentless determination, and commitment to her craft. Always striving for professional growth, she continues to push creative boundaries while staying true to her vision. Outside of design, Parvathy is an avid cyclist, fitness enthusiast, dancer, and passionate about books, food culture, and clothing. She also enjoys visual journaling, video essays, and urban sketching.
